Facebook Brand Safety

Brand Safety on Facebook means that your ad will not be displayed in certain places, such as sites with extreme violence, pornographic films, or sites that talk about religion that oppose some religions. In other words, it is to maintain your brand and control where it appears and is used by using the brand’s security features. To avoid all this, you can do “Brand Safety” and this is what we will explain today in this article in detail.

How do you do Brand Safety on Facebook?

  • In order to reach the brand safety on Facebook, click on the button at the top left of the previously mentioned page. A page will appear containing this option, as we can see:

  • We click on “Brand Safety”, right-click, and from the drop-down menu, we choose “Open Link New tab” to open it in a new “Tab” and the first remains open as it is, and you can select the brand safety on Facebook from the new “Tab”.
  • At first, we click on the arrow next to “New Ad Account” and choose the “Account” ad that we want to do the “Brand Safety” on. Facebook business for each account, as we can see below:

  • Choose “Controls”. From it we specify the places where my ads will be displayed within the account called “New ad Account” and then we find the “Inventory Filter” sub-choice or the filter that will be placed on the sites and places where I do not want to display ads.   • Open a text file, let it be “Notepad” and write in it the “URL” of sites, applications and pages. You can write within it up to 10,000 lines, and from the “File” menu, select the “Save As” command, then name the file.
